NOTE FOR ALL BOOK SALES and STORES: Electronic scanners are allowed at book sales (not at book stores), and with or without a scanner, we ask that customers do not remove large numbers of books away from the sale tables to go through them before other custormers have a chance to look at them. Please remove from table areas only those you have already decided to purchase.

Remember: you can always get good quality books at great prices at the Friends Bookstores located inside the Main and Southside Libraries, open 10-4 daily except Sundays. Hardbacks $2, paperbacks $1. All proceeds from book stores or book sales, staffed by volunteers, go to support of our public libraries, purchasing new books or other media, programs, etc.

MARCH 20-21:

SOUTHSIDE LIBRARY BOOK SALE: Discount books (hardbacks, $1, paperbacks $0.50 or 3 for $1; some quality books individually priced) for sale at the Branch Library located at 5699 Jaguar Drive, on the corner with Country Club Road; members of Friends of Library get in early on Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm (membership available at the door); open to the public from 1 to 4 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. NOTE: this and the following sale offer different selections of books at each site. They are not the same books transported from one location to another.

APRIL 17-18:

MAIN LIBRARY SPRING BOOK SALE: Quality books (individually priced) for sale in the Southwest Room AND discount books in the community room upstairs (145 Washington Avenue); members of the Friends of Library get in early on Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm; open to the public from 1 to 4 pm both Saturday and Sunday. NOTE: the sales at Main and Southside will feature different selections of books at each site.
