Make a donation and support the Library!

When you donate to The Friends, you help to build a stronger library! 

Your donation helps to support:

  • Programming (presenters, transportation, translation services...)

  • Program materials (crafts, take home material, books...)

  • Professional development for library staff

  • Materials (books, audiobooks, dvds, bilingual materials...)

  • Technology (printer/copiers, online resources, website support...)

  • Special presentations

  • Community collaborations

Santa Fe Public Libraries are free community spaces that provide access to information, educational resources, programming, support to families and educators, and much more. They serve as an essential city service to our growing community. Demand for these services is increasing, so we need your support more than ever.

One of the main ways your donation dollars are spent is in funding for programming. Each year the library puts on more than 1300 programs for the community, and your donation makes that possible!

The Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library is a nonprofit organization with 501(c)(3) status.We maintain an endowment fund for sustained support of the library. Your donation is tax deductible to the extent provided by law.

You can also support the Friends by donating books.  These books will be used for the Friends Book Stores and for Book Sales.  There are some guidelines for donating book, and which books can be donated.  Please read them.
