Join The Friends of the Santa Fe Public Library for a Kick-Off Scavenger Hunt to celebrate the NEA Big Read on March 20, 2021.

The Friends of the Santa Fe Library have volunteers with free copies of Luis Alberto Urrea's novel Into the Beautiful North hidden in secret locations throughout our community just waiting to be found.

The Friends of the Santa Fe Library are excited to announce that Santa Fe will be participating in the NEA Big Read.  The NEA Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) designed to broaden our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book.  The Santa Fe Public Library is one of 78 not-for-profit organizations to receive a grant to host an NEA Big Read project between September 2019 and June 2020.  The NEA presents NEA Big Read in partnership with Arts Midwest.
