MAKE A DONATION TO SUPPORT THE LIBRARY!

There are many ways you can help us secure a bright future for the library.

You can make a monthly or annual contribution.

MORE WAYS TO DONATE

You may also consider planned giving through your will,

retirement assets, or life insurance.

Planned giving can be both a meaningful legacy for favorite charities, and can help reduce the tax impact upon your family and other beneficiaries.

IRA Giving

Make a qualified charitable distribution from your IRA if you are 70.5 years of age. The gift is not taxed to up to $100,000, and counts toward your required minimum distribution for those over 72. •Also consider naming the Friends of the Santa Fe Library as the beneficiary of an IRA or retirement plan that would otherwise be taxed to your heirs – and leave your heirs non-taxable assets.

Life
Insurance

Giving a life insurance policy is also a great way to transform a modest gift into a dramatic one by transferring ownership of a fully-paid policy to the Friends.

Stocks/ Assets

Do you have stocks, land or other assets that have appreciated? Consider making a tax-deductible gift of the asset itself to the Friends of the Santa Fe Library, and avoid paying capital gains tax on the sale.

Estate/
Will Bequest

Do you have stocks, land or other assets that have appreciated? Consider making a tax-deductible gift of the asset itself to the Friends of the Santa Fe Library, and avoid paying capital gains tax on the sale.

Memorial
Gift

Celebrate milestones and/or memorialize loved ones with a gift to the Friends of the Santa Fe Library that will bring good to the community long after flowers have faded.

Tax Deductions

If you usually take the standard deduction, consider consolidating several desired charitable contributions into a single year where you will itemize deductions, and then skip the following year and take the standard deduction.

However you choose to give,
thank you for you contribution to The Friends.
We can't do it without you!
